You might want to read this if you are interested in traveling abroad and your travel budget is around $0.00, plus or minus a few dollars.

The Rotary Foundation promotes international understanding and good will through numerous programs, including the Group Study Exchange Program.

District 7570 participates in the program by hosting groups who travel here from other countries, and screening applicants for groups to send to the same countries.

The trips abroad last approximately one month. A group consists of members and a leader who is a Rotarian.

Travel expenses are paid by Rotary and group members are hosted by Rotarians as they travel through the hosting Rotary District. Team members are only responsible for personal and incidental expenses incurred before, during, and after the study tour, including any personal travel arranged after the exchange.

District 7570 is sending a team to India in January, 2009. Return to this site or check with any rotarian for information on future exchanges.
